Beacon Radio has once again teamed up with v, the youth volunteering charity, to give away £65,000 to local community organisations across the West Midlands and Shropshire that can come up with new volunteering opportunities for young people.

v ‘s mission is to inspire a new generation of volunteers aged 16-25 in England. The grants will fund projects that cover a variety of ideas that will benefit the community as a whole, and can cover a diverse range of activities including music, sports, the arts, and the environment to name but a few.

We would like as many organisations as is possible to be aware of this v Grant opportunity so if it is possible to cascade this information down to your members we would be very grateful.

There is a total of £15,000 available for Shropshire organisations, and £50,000 for those in the West Midlands. The closing date to submit an application is Friday May 30th.
