The Ministry of Justice is looking for fresh ideas that encourage people to participate in public discussions and address public issues. It is offering grants of up to £15,000 to develop the best proposals. Details are available on the ‘Building democracy’ website. Anyone can apply, and the closing date for applications is 26 September. Over the next two months, people are encouraged to use the website to suggest ideas and comment on proposals. http://www.buildingdemocracy.co.uk
