Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) Webpages

A website dedicated to Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) was launched today on the Department of Health website at

It includes a new core dataset which provides a list of indicators what can assist partners in preparing their JSNA, with key information on each indicator, and offers readers the chance to choose specific levels of detail.

The website:

• Gives brief background information on JSNA
• Pulls together existing information and documents on JSNA
• Provides tools and resources to support the implementation of JSNA
• Offers links to other websites related to policy and guidance.

This website means that information on Joint Strategic Needs Assessment will be now be more easily accessible. It should be disseminated to anyone who is involved in the ongoing JSNA process.
