Part time and sessional vacancies available

 

AAINA Asian Women’s Group is looking to appoint tutors for the following courses to be delivered in 2008/2009:-

(a)    Driving theory Test

(b)    English for Speakers of other languages (ESOL)

( c)  Beauty Courses (mehndi, makeup, hairstyling, Facial Skincare, Indian Head massage, threading, aromatherapy, manicure and so on)

(d)            Sewing

(e)            Customer Care

(f)              Arts & Crafts

(g)            Extend Exercise

(h)            Dance

(i)               Personal Image

(j)              Behaviour management

Hourly rate:  £12.00 – £15.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience

If you are level 2 and 3 qualified and have 2 years practical experience in any of the above subject areas then please contact our office for an application pack.

All tutors must have a teaching qualification or be willing to gain the PTLS teaching qualification which will be delivered at the Women Centre in September 2008.

Tutors will receive on going training to assist with their personal development and support from the centre manager who will guide new tutors through delivery of courses.

• Enjoy working with people and students
• Demonstrate understanding of project delivery and enthusiasm for           up-skilling women in the community
• Willing to attend appropriate training sessions and staff meetings
