Telecommunications giant BT is offering community or charitable organisations the chance to apply for a free laptop and a year’s free broadband connection under their Community Connections award scheme.The scheme supports a diverse range of groups – in the past community projects, silver surfers, conservation organisations, family support groups, sports teams and youth groups have all received help.

To find out more, simply log on to www.btcommunityconnections.com, where you can complete an online application or print off a postal application form.  Please note that the closing date for online applications is 7 January 2010 and postal applications must be returned by 5 January 2010.
