Lower Bridge Street disabled parking: have your sayPublished in Featured, Local News, News, WVA News on 4th December, 2009

Walsall Disability Forum, together with Access All Areas, is campaigning against proposals to relocate the disability parking bays in Lower Bridge Street, Walsall Town Centre.Campaigners believe that action to relocate the disabled parking with the Taxi Rank will put disabled passengers, drivers and carers in danger, by exiting the vehicle into oncoming traffic from the passenger side, and the risk of tripping toppling and falling, by exiting the vehicle from the driver’s side onto a sloped public highway.

The Forum want your views on these proposals so they can put the case to the Council.  Please take a few moments to complete their short survey, which can be accessed by following the link below.

All responses have to be received by Wednesday 9 December.  You can send your completed questionnaire to: Walsall Disability Forum, 59a Lichfield Street, Walsall WS4 2BX or  Access all Areas, 71 Hillary Street, Walsall WS2 9BS

Alternatively, you can send your responses by email to: andrewmoult@yahoo.co.uk or accessallareas@talk21.com

If you have any queries on this matter please call Andrew on 07716739221 between 09:00am – 2:00pm Mon to Thurs.
