Do you know a learner whose achievements could inspire others?Does your organisation, company, group or learning centre offer a creative programme of learning that reaches out to adults?

Are your programmes making a difference to learners in the workplace, at home or in the community?

Do you know a group or family who are working together towards a common goal or purpose?

If so, then why not nominate them for the 12^th Walsall Lifelong Learning Awards?

This high-profile, prestigious event will be held at Banks’s Stadium on Wednesday 17 March 2010 with host, former BBC Midlands Today presenter, Sue Beardsmore and special guest speaker, former Rugby and Strictly Come Dancing star Austin Healey. 

Organised by the Walsall Lifelong Learning Alliance, the Awards are a really great way of celebrating the achievements of learners, and in doing so, encouraging others to get involved in learning as well.  Previous winners and nominees have come from a variety of backgrounds, but all have remarkable learning stories which inspire others. There are fourteen categories of nomination representing the wide variety of learning we have in Walsall.

This will be the biggest Awards by far and the closing date for receipt of completed forms is Friday 22 January 2010. Invitations to nominees will be allocated in order of receipt – so please get your nominations in as soon as possible!
