Walsall Council has announced new tender opportunities to provide services for disabled children in the borough.Tenders are being sought for the Aiming High for Disabled Children short breaks in Walsall (Services 1 and 2) and for Service 3, a non-Aiming High Short Breaks Framework Agreement, as follows:

Service 1: “Buddy Service”

Service 2: “Activity with Care Support”

Service 3: “Care in Child’s Home”.

The contract is scheduled to commence on 1 April 2010 and will be for an initial period of one year. The Council has the option to extend the contract in yearly increments for a further two years up to 31 March 2013.

Tenders for ‘Services 1 and 2′ are to be returned no later than 12noon on 21 January 2010.

Tenders for ‘Service 3′ are to be returned no later than 12noon on 4 February 2010.
