Improving policing in the West Midlands – a chance to have your sayPublished in Featured,Local News,News,WVA News on 26th January, 2010
West Midlands Police Authority has launched a new Listening Campaign, aimed at encouraging everyone within local communities to let their views be heard on how the local police can help serve their needs. The Authority already undertakes ongoing consultations, but this campaign aims to get to the grass roots of each community and to encourage people the Authority usually does not have the opportunity to meet with to share their views on how they think policing can improve.
A meeting will be taking place at Walsall College, Wisemore Campus, Littleton Street West, Walsall WS2 8ES on Tuesday 16 February at 7pm. The session will provide a brief introduction to the role of the West Midlands Police Authority, before giving attendees the opportunity to put their views.
