Hospice to raise funds with Valentines’ Masquerade BallPublished in Featured,Local News,News on 1st February, 2010

What do Venice and Walsall have in common?  The answer is that in February they will both be hosting masquerade balls. Fundraisers at Walsall Hospice are planning a night of romance and glamour to help raise funds for their appeal by hosting a Masquerade Ball at Walsall Football Club on 13th February 2010.

The romance?  It’s Valentines’ weekend.

The glamour?  What could be more glamorous than black tie, party dresses and the added mystery of beautiful masks?  Why not join them for a champagne reception and a three course dinner, and then dance the night away to the Expresso Bongo Orchestra?

Walsall Hospice’s Head of Fundraising, Cheryl Bradburne, says:

“We want people to join us and have some fun whilst raising much needed funds for the Hospice.  After a year of news full of doom and gloom, won’t it be lovely to surround ourselves with glamour?  Who knows, there could be some romance too.”

The tickets will be £40 each and there will also be a charity auction to help boost the funds raised on the night.
