There is still time to submit your entries for The Charity Awards 2010, the charity sector’s prestigious celebration of management excellence, organised by Civil Society Media with overall sponsors CAF, The Leadership Trust Foundation and The Times.

Now in their eleventh year, The Charity Awards 2010 are open to charities of all sizes from throughout the UK and recognises exceptional leadership and management across ten broad categories of charitable activity, with one charity going on to receive the prestigious Overall Award. There is also an award made to an exceptional individual for Outstanding Leadership.Daniel Phelan, organiser of The Charity Awards 2010, said: “It is vital that we acknowledge the achievements of charities and voluntary organisations and recognise the effort and commitment that goes into making them effective. Highlighting good practice draws attention to the talent and expertise behind charities and helps to spread good practice throughout the sector.”

The closing date for nominations is 12 March and the winners will be announced at a gala presentation dinner in London for 1,000 prominent sector figures on Thursday 10 June 2010.
