You can be the judge on community sentencesPublished in Featured,Local News,News on 21st April, 2010

Would your community group like an interactive presentation on local crime and community sentences?

The Local Crime: Community Sentence project is a joint venture by magistrates and probation officers to increase the knowledge and understanding of community sentences.  It’s an opportunity for your group to “be the judge”, sentencing a serious crime and deciding whether the offender goes to prison or receives a community sentence.

Bookings for these interactive presentations are being taken now.  Each presentation lasts for an hour and can be made at any time to suit your group.  All equipment is provided by the project and the presentations are absolutely free of charge.
