Wanted: your views on a National Skills Strategy for the voluntary sectorPublished in Featured,Local News,National News,News on 9th July, 2010

As the Government looks to expand the role played by the voluntary sector in delivering public services and building strong communities, organisations need people with the right skills in order to rise to the challenge.

Skills – Third Sector is working to develop a National Skills Strategy for the voluntary sector and would like to hear your views as part of their nationwide consultation.  The team are keen to hear from people who work or volunteer for charities, social enterprises and other not-for-profit organisations.

The consultation event takes place in Birmingham on Tuesday 13 July.  To reserve your place, please email round.table@skills-thirdsector.org.uk.
